Call Out: Joining the Dots PechaKucha Evening
LIGHT THE BLUE 2025: PECHA KUCHA PRESENTATION CALL-OUT
We’re looking for local arts organisations to take part in our Joining the Dots: PechaKucha Evening as part of Light the Blue 2025 and present a short presentation on an exciting recent project they have delivered for/with young people.
PechaKucha translates to “chit-chat” or “the sound of conversation” in Japanese and is a presentation format where speakers deliver 20 slides, each displayed for 20 seconds, resulting in a concise, image-driven presentation. Presentations will therefore be up to 7 minutes in length and we’re looking for 8-12 presentations to make up the night.
The event takes place on Wednesday 4th June 2025, 5pm at the Music Hall, Aberdeen. Its aim is to showcase all the amazing work being delivered across the city in all capacities and artforms, and offer a space for organisations to connect and collaborate. This is an opportunity to shout about the work your organisation is doing, learn about what else is going on in Aberdeen and make vital local connections.

We’ll consider local organisations working in any artform, we just ask that you tell us about who will be presenting and which project they’ll be sharing. Submitting a note of interest does not guarantee participation, we will make a selection based on creating a diverse line-up for the event.
