The attendant comes back with the change, but you’re already up and out of the carriage.
You send a warm smile back as the attendant waves and pockets the change.
With your belly full and your energy restored, you look forward to sitting out the rest of your journey with a good book as the rain gently hits the window of your compartment.
However, that plan is quickly spoiled by the sight that greets you as you step back into the passenger’s carriage. Your compartment door remains shut just as it was left. But, when you look to the opposite side, you spot the door half open and blood pooling out into the corridor.
“Help! Can anyone help?!”, you yell as you step further in. Turning to grip the sides of the door hoping to help whoever has fallen. But, that thought dissipates as you come face to face with Leonard’s grisly fate.
Your hands drop to your sides as you take in the scene before you. You hear rushed footsteps in the distance as someone responds to your call.
As they close the gap and near the carriage, you look ahead and spot something peculiar.

In fact the napkin would most likely have been around Leonard’s neck which has left a peculiar mark on his jacket.
