Aberdeen Performing Arts has been the cultural beating heart of our community for over 20 years, staging magical and memorable performances, igniting imaginations, and inspiring a lifelong love for the arts. In the wake of the pandemic, something remarkable has been happening – ovations are soaring. As reported by the BBC (Dec 2023), audiences are not just applauding; they are rising to their feet before the final curtain even falls, swept up in the passion, the brilliance, the sheer power of live performance. And we have noticed that change too, right here in Aberdeen.

Education: Our extensive and established suite of Creative Engagement workshops.

In 2024, we delivered 560 sessions and workshops in music and drama to 3,800 participants of all ages, as well as curating the annual Light the Blue Youth Arts Festival in the summer. We not only teach the skills required to perform in music and drama, we give our participants a voice, they can create, produce and learn about the creative arts in an immersive and unique setting.

We also offer free spaces to our workshops for those who need it, no questions asked, and last year we gave out 62 spaces, which we wouldn’t be able to do without the support of our audiences like you.

Salvation: Our Local Talent, Diversity and Inclusion support.

At Aberdeen Performing Arts, we aspire to foster talent from people of all backgrounds, and to make our venues a place where everyone is welcome, onstage and in the audience. Your support can help us reach and support artists who may not otherwise be able to showcase their work and provide a platform for the voices of people who can’t find one. Through our 5 festivals through the year, we hope to provide space to ensure Everyone Is Welcome Here at Aberdeen Performing Arts.

Damnation: Direct support to our Historic Buildings.

The final building to be added to the trio of Education, Salvation and Damnation back in 1906 was His Majesty’s Theatre, neighbouring the City Library and St Mark’s Church. HMT, along with the Music Hall and the Lemon Tree require costly maintenance and upgrades to keep them ready for our audiences almost every night. Your support can help us take these historic buildings, brimming with people’s memories and dreams, long into the future with Aberdeen Performing Arts.

For a suggested donation of £10,000, your business will receive:
- The Royal Treatment: Enjoy a pre-theatre dinner at The Terrace, followed by a show from the comfort of our Royal Boxes in His Majesty’s Theatre, accommodating up to 8 people (4 per box), with champagne included. This offer is available up to four times per year, accompanied by a dedicated Aberdeen Performing Arts host.
- Be “On the List”: You will receive invitations to special events, including receptions, openings, and previews, where you can mingle with other club members, Aberdeen Performing Arts staff, and VIPs.
- Set the Stage: Reserve the HMT or Music Hall stage for a networking event or staff meeting, subject to availability, once per year. This unique venue option offers a memorable setting for your corporate gatherings.
