Aberdeen Chamber Music Concerts: Robin Michael, cello, and Daniel Tong, piano

Robin studied at the Royal Academy of Music with David Strange and Colin Carr and later with Ferenc Rados. He is principal cellist in Orchestre Revolutionnaire et Romantique, and a regular guest with the Scottish Chamber Orchestra.  He plays on a cello made for him by the German luthier Stephan von Behr in 2010.

Daniel grew up in Somerset but now lives in London.  He first came to prominence as piano finalist in a BBC Young Musicians competition and now enjoys a diverse musical life, performing as soloist and chamber musician, directing two chamber music festivals, and also teaching and writing.
