soundfestival: Zubin Kanga – The Art of Sinking
Pianist, composer and technologist Zubin Kanga performs new solo works created out of his Cyborg Soloists project that combines the piano with malleable keyboards, interactive visuals, motion sensors, AI-assisted motion tracking and other cutting-edge technologies, drawing on diverse influences from Liszt to video games. He will perform new works by Lara Agar, Rylan Gleave and Ben Nobuto, and will be joined by accordionist Andreas Borregaard for Neil Luck’s new suite of technologically mediated love duets drawn from Samuel Pepys’s Broadside Ballads.
