The Granite Safari: A Celebration of Aberdeen’s Wildlife (Aberdeen Science Festival)

Presented by Jack Elphinstone: Aberdeen City Council Countryside Ranger Service Scotland is home to over 90,000 different species of animal. Locations such as the Cairngorms National Park attract massive gatherings of wildlife enthusiasts and photographers. With such amazing places available to us, it can be all too easy to ignore the creatures that can be found right on our doorstep. Countryside Ranger Jack Elphinstone highlights some of Aberdeen’s wild spaces and the remarkable species that can be found right in the heart of our Granite City.
