Aberdeen Chamber Music Concerts: Pirasti Piano Trio plus Viola

 The Pirasti Trio came together in 1989 and performed throughout the UK, Europe and the USA until 2001. They had a particular interest in English music, and undertook many recordings and broadcasts. In 2021, after they were all living back in the UK, they reunited as a trio, performing at The Yehudi Menuhin School, where they teach every summer.  Sophie Renshaw was Principal Viola of the Scottish Chamber Orchestra for 8 years and teaches at the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland.  She is joining the Pirasti Trio to form a piano quartet for this concert.
