soundfestival: Alistair MacDonald (electronics) & Darren Gallacher (percussion)
kurdy-murdy (Scots: a state of confusion, uproar) The rich treasury of Scots language forms the foundation for a series of short pieces blending percussion with electronics. Exploration of the sounds of the words and the sensations that their meanings convey spill into the rhythms and textures of the percussion, and their electronic manipulation.
