soundfestival: Late Night soundsession – Tom Macfadyen

This year’s soundfestival will be concluded by a concert curated by Tom Macfadyen. Featuring new electroacoustic works by 5 exciting emerging composers based in Scotland, Flynn Butler Fraser, Aidan Lochrin, Emily Rae and Darlene Zarabozo. Sit back and listen to familiar sounds become unfamiliar, with rich, highly detailed, and intricate sound worlds broadcast over our multichannel speaker system.

Nurtures new music creators with year round artistic and skills development opportunities as well as commissions, performances and increased visibility.
The overall programme is currently funded by Creative Scotland, Aberdeen City Council, the Hinrichsen Foundation, the William Syson Foundation and through the PRS Foundation’s Development Network fund supported by PPL.

soundcurators
Gives opportunities to early-career composers to curate our late night soundsessions. It is funded by the D’Oyly Carte Charitable Trust.
