soundfestival: Leona Jones – apeiron
Award-winning experimental radio artwork apeiron explores our elemental relationship with the sea, listening, and constant change. Presented in collaboration with Station House Media Unit SHMU, this unique soundfestival event combines a live radio broadcast with communal listening, blurring the boundaries between individual and shared experience, imagination, and place.
Leona Jones (composer, director, field recordings), Audrey Chen (solo voice), Frank Halbig (SWR producer), Daniel Senger (SWR Studio Engineer), Robin Zwirner (SWR Studio Engineer) and 22 volunteer voices recorded in Stromness, Orkney.
Commissioned, developed and produced by SWR public radio broadcaster, Germany.
